Rockingham Beach Redevelopment

July has arrived and although the grey clouds are out, we at Surf Mania we are completely possessed by excitement from watching the Rockingham Foreshore come to life on our very doorstep, knowing that the final product is now imminent. As the works continue, we have utilised our privileged position at only 50m from the water (Close enough to Hire a Paddle Board from!) to document some of the awesome progression on our very own doorstop.

Rockingham City Beach - July Update

While the progress has seemed slow at times, we have witnessed continued earthworks and the extension of pavement in front of the store of the last few weeks. Large Pine Trees were planted recently and now that we can begin to picture the final product we are seriously excited by what it will mean for us and our customers this summer!

According to the local council, the works will be completed by September of this year, which is now just a short 3 months away. The BoardWalk along the water’s front has already been completed and new public seating installed, with the works out the front of our store to receive some love and attention over the next month or so.

With the final product now imminent we look forward to the Rockingham weather clearing and documenting the remaining works on the foreshore. Be sure to check back here in a few weeks time!
